How to broadcast your Browser contents to Apple TV

Just read a review of a new iPhone application released yesterday that lets you broadcast the web browser contents to your TV through Apple TV.  I was just asked about this functionality on the weekend.  Apple lets you broadcast your photos, YouTube, and iPod content (like music, podcasts, and videos) but not Safari or email (again, a request I’ve received).

The app is entitled Web Browser for Apple TV by TapMedia Publishing.  It costs $1.99.

According to the review on cultofmac.com it’s a little rough around the edges.

I don’t see any indication it works on an iPad.

Best solution is for Apple to bake this into the OS.  Perhaps iOS 5?
